I certify that adequate and timely notification was made

of the intention of the parties concerned to apply to the Legislative Council of Hongkong for An Ordinance styled "An Ordi- -nance to provide for the incorporation of the Church Body of the China Congregational Church in Hongkong" before the same was brought into the Legislative Council. Such Notification was made in the manner following:-

Notification of the intention of the parties to apply for the said Ordinance was advertised in two issues of the Gazette on the 11th. and 18th. October, 1912, and in two issues in two newspapers circulating in the Colony viz.:- in an English news- -paper "The China Mail" on the 9th. and 10th. October, 1912, and in a Chinese newspaper "The Wa Tsz Yat Po* on the 11th. and 12th. October, 1912, A draft of the proposed said Ordinance was further published in two issue of the Gazette on the 18th. and 25th. October, 1912.
